Terms of Service

The rules for using HelpCenter and the help bots it creates.

Last updated: 14 October 2026

These terms apply when you use @HelpCenterBot to create and run a help bot ("you" are the owner). By using HelpCenter you agree to them and to our Privacy Policy. HelpCenter is not affiliated with Telegram.

1. What HelpCenter does

HelpCenter creates a Telegram help bot for your channel, group or shop. The bot answers your members with AI, using only the FAQ you give it, in the member's language, and sends you the questions it can't answer so you can reply.

2. Who can use it

You must be at least 18 and allowed to use Telegram. You must follow Telegram's Terms of Service and Bot Developer Terms, which also apply to your help bot.

3. Your help bot and your FAQ

  • The bot is created in your Telegram account and belongs to you. HelpCenter manages it for you while you use the service.
  • Your FAQ is yours. You give HelpCenter permission to store it and send it to our AI provider to answer your members, and for nothing else.
  • You are responsible for what your FAQ says and for how you use the bot in your community.
  • Tell your members, where needed, that the bot uses AI and how their questions are handled. The bot's welcome message and /privacy already explain this.

4. Rules

Don't use HelpCenter to:

  • break the law, or help others break it;
  • scam, mislead, or impersonate Telegram, Telegram support, or any other person or organization;
  • ask for or collect login codes, passwords, seed phrases, or payment card details;
  • send spam, or message people who didn't write to your bot first;
  • spread hate, harassment, or sexual content involving minors;
  • present the bot's answers as professional medical, legal or financial advice;
  • attack, overload or try to get around the limits of HelpCenter or its AI provider.

5. AI answers can be wrong

The bot is told to answer only from your FAQ and to pass everything else to you, but AI can still make mistakes or misread a question. Check how your bot answers (๐Ÿ“Š Stats shows what members ask), keep your FAQ clear and current, and don't rely on the bot for anything where a wrong answer could cause serious harm.

6. Plans and limits

HelpCenter is free to start. The free plan currently includes 1 help bot, up to 1,000 AI answers per month, an FAQ of up to 10,000 characters, and up to 30 questions per member per day. We may change these limits. When a limit is reached, the bot passes questions to you instead of answering. Paid plans, if we offer them, are paid with Telegram Stars; their price and limits are shown before you pay.

7. Availability

We work to keep HelpCenter running, but we can't promise it will always be available or error-free. The AI provider or Telegram can also be unavailable. We may change, pause or end features, and we will tell owners in @HelpCenterBot before ending the service.

8. Suspension

We may suspend or remove a help bot that breaks these terms or Telegram's rules, or that puts HelpCenter, its users or members at risk, and we may stop an account from creating new help bots. Members can report a help bot with /report; we review reports, which can include reading the bot's FAQ. We tell you in @HelpCenterBot when we suspend or remove your bot, and you can reply with /feedback if you think it's a mistake.

9. Ending

You can stop any time: pause your bot, use ๐Ÿ—‘ Delete bot data, or send /deletemydata. Your bot stays in your Telegram account; it just stops answering.

10. Liability

HelpCenter is provided "as is". As far as the law allows, we are not responsible for indirect losses, lost profits or lost data, or for answers your bot gives based on your FAQ. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

11. Changes

We may update these terms. We change the date above, and for important changes we tell owners in @HelpCenterBot. If you keep using HelpCenter after a change, the new terms apply.

12. Contact

Send /feedback to @HelpCenterBot.
